Back to school/work tutorial! – ALL DRUGSTORE

Hey guys,

So today I’m going to do a work/school appropriate makeup tutorial. I actually did one of these over a year ago, but it wasn’t really very good.

So this look is quite natural, bearing in mind that my definition of normal is other peoples definition of dramatic. Its a shimmery brown eye look with matte pink lips.

And id just like to apologize if the quality of some of the photos is not great, I did this at 9:30pm this evening so the lighting is cruddy (Its like – MY HAIR IS NOT DARK BROWN). I usually use natural light.

Heres the finished result first. (closed eyes so you can see the pretty colours!) :

So off with the tutorial:

1) Prime your eyes with an eyeprimer. This is essential for your shadows to last.

2) Next I dampen a flat eyeshadow brush and apply a bronze shadow to my lid. I also apply it along my lower lashline.

3) next I apply a shimmery ivory eyeliner to my inner corner and blend so it fades into the bronze shadow. Because we need to brighen those peepers in the mornin!

4) For eyeliner, I line my upper lashline with a thin brown line, I also line the outer third of my lower lashline. This adds definition without closing your eyes up.

5) Next I curl my lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara on my top and bottom lashes. WATERPROOF OF COURSE, GURL! 

6) Now for the cheeks. I apply a matte bronzer under my chin, cheeks and around my forehead. Kind of of a ‘3’ shape. I then apply blush to the apples of my cheek and blend into my temples. 

7) The final step is to apply a pink matte lip cream to your lips, and you’re good to go!

.Maybelline the falsies volume express mascara (waterproof) – Black
