Hey guys,
So I thought id give you an update on my hair. Just because.
So as you probably noticed. I had red hair for about 3 months, and I loved it. BUT. I had to dye my hair every 2/3 weeks to keep it vibrant, and I already damage my hair SO much whenever I was it or style it – It takes me 3 hours to do my hair EVERY time I wash it. Crazy right? And Ive had broken bits of hair for a while now and I want to it get better, so the theory was that if I dye my hair brown I can have a hair dye boycott for about 3 or 4 months to help my hair get in better condition.
Also I actually wanted to bleach and then dye my hair medium blonde in August but then had a snap decision to go red as it wouldnt damage it as much. The thing is though, I still want to go blonde… so next spring/summer maybe? When/If my hairs in better condition of course
Anyway here’s my hair now:
Oh its Nice&Easy foam hair colour in Medium Brown by the way. 🙂
Okay, ok. Its still red in some parts (especially at the roots), but its alot less red than before:
So what do you think? I quite like it, but I havent played around with makeup enough to figure out what looks right with it yet.
But on a different note, Im thinking about doing a Lana Del Rey tutorial next. Because ive been obcessed with her recently (im listening to National Athem by her right now).
Thanks for reading, Have a great rest of the weekend!
XOXO
GORGEOUS! A quick glance, and I thought you looked like Angelina Jolie!
Aw thank you so much. Angeline Jolie, wow, im flattered! 😀 x
It looks great! Love the new colour 🙂 if you want to fix your damaged hair I thoroughly recommend the macadamia natural oil derp repair mask & Morrocan oil! 🙂 they may be on the expensive side, but they are worth it & really repair your hair.
Thank you, I was looking at them the other day funnily enough. I realy like the look of the hair mask :). I will have to try them out, thanks for the suggestion! 🙂 x
I love your new colour! I loved the red too, of course, but your new colour is also gorgeous and I think it really suits you 🙂 You’re so lucky to be able to pull off all these colours! So jealous 😉
Im quite liking the brown too, I wasnt sure at first but its growing on me. Thank you so much 🙂 xx
It’s still kind of red, so you are still as you like! The colour is beautiful anyway, I think you should NOT dye it or use heat foor at least a few months, it needs to recover 😦 I’m always searching online for heatless tutorials, and some are really awesome working 🙂
Glorious!!
Hehe, CHAMPION. x
Love, love the colour. I’m behind on my blog reading, but hope you do a Lana-post – her styling is amazing!
Aw thank you. I think I might have to, I love her styling too. Classy and chic. x
Gorgeous haircolor, oh so much envy that you can get away with all those haircolors! Love to see a Lana del Rey look; it would completely fit with your hair (like it wouldn’t anyhow). During Great Gatsby I was addicted to her Young& Beautiful.
Aw thank you! I cant get away with all hair colours though, black looks TERRIBLE on me, no joke. I hope the Lana look will suit me. Im going to search for a nice picture to imitate soon. 🙂 x
Lovely, lovely colour. The red suits you very well. And fun blog, too! 🙂
Long ago and not so far away, long before anyone would even think of taking a picture of their hair to preserve its awesomeness (which means I don’t have a photo), my hairstylist gave me neon red highlights. I LOVED them, they were so wild – like Ariel from the Little Mermaid – but I was in the salon every three weeks getting them completely recoloured, never mind the colour-depositing shampoo in between. I swear, baby blonde hair would have been less trouble.
Aw thank you! 🙂
Neon red sounds beautiful, but my hair wasnt even neon and it faded light crazy, so I cant imagine what NEON red must of been like!
xx
